Ferryhopper Widgets
Help your audience find and book the right ferry
Ferry travel can be an important part of trip planning, especially for travel blogs, destination guides, island-focused websites, and other travel content platforms.
With Ferryhopper Widgets, you can bring live ferry routes, schedules, prices, and booking options directly into your website, making it easier for your audience to plan their trip while staying engaged with your content.
Choose between two widget options, depending on the experience you want to offer:
-
Trips Widget shows ferry connections for specific routes and destinations.
-
Search Widget lets users search for the ferry trip that best fits their plans.
Both widgets connect directly to Ferryhopper's live ferry data, so there’s no need to manually maintain routes, schedules, or prices.
Why use Ferryhopper Widgets?
Ferry routes, schedules, and prices can change throughout the year depending on the season and operator. Keeping this information up to date manually can be time-consuming and quickly lead to outdated content.
Ferryhopper Widgets take care of this for you by connecting directly to our booking platform.
With the widgets, you can:
Provide users with real-time ferry information
Let users search for and discover available ferry trips
Keep users engaged with your content while they plan their trip
Direct users seamlessly to the booking process
Avoid maintaining static ferry schedules, routes, or prices manually
Choose the widget that fits your content
Whether you want to highlight a specific ferry connection or give your audience more flexibility to search, you can choose the widget that works best for each page.

Trip Widget
Show relevant ferry connections directly in your content
The Trips Widget is designed for partners who want to display specific ferry routes, schedules, and prices directly on their website.
For example, if you have a page about traveling from Athens to Crete, you can use the Trips Widget to display the relevant ferry connections between the two destinations.
The widget uses live ferry data from Ferryhopper, allowing your audience to explore available trips and continue to the booking process without having to search for the route themselves.
You can configure the widget with specific departure and arrival ports, so the ferry information shown matches the content your audience is already reading.
Easy to set up
Once you become a Ferryhopper Affiliate Partner, you’ll find everything you need to set up the Trips Widget in your Affiliate Dashboard, including the configuration and implementation instructions.

Search Widget
Let your audience search for their own ferry trip
The Search Widget gives your audience more flexibility to find the ferry trip that works best for their plans, directly from your website.
Users can select:
-
Departure and arrival ports
-
Travel dates
-
Trip type (one-way or round trip)
You can also prefill the departure port, arrival port, or both, making the search more relevant to the content of each page.
Easy destination setup
Available ports are already integrated into your Affiliate Dashboard, so you can easily choose which destinations to prefill.
For example, a page about traveling to Santorini could have Santorini preselected as the arrival port, while a page about ferry travel from Athens could have Athens preselected as the departure port.
This gives you the flexibility to create a more targeted search experience without requiring any complex configuration.
Make it fit your website!
The Search Widget can be customized to feel like a natural part of your website and brand.
You can customize:
-
Size
-
Language
-
Colors
-
Prefilled destinations
This makes it easy to match the widget to both your website design and the destinations or routes featured in your content.
Easy to implement
Once you become a Ferryhopper Affiliate Partner, you can access the Search Widget section directly from your Affiliate Dashboard.
There, you’ll find the available customization options, the list of ports you can prefill, and the iframe code you need to add the widget to your website.
